5 Restaurants Delivering Everything You Need Right Now

It’s no surprise that the restaurant industry has shifted dramatically in the past few months, and Angelinos have been left desperately missing our trendy brunch spots, rooftop bars, courtyard cafes, and neighborhood favorites.

While restaurants have started reopening since May 29th, some people might not yet feel comfortable dining out with the rest of the city. Luckily, many restaurants were quick to adapt to our new way of life early on in order to keep their doors open, workers paid, and people fed. You may be wondering, will I ever sit at the Milo & Olive communal table again? Will I ever meet my friends for a hangover brunch on a crowded Melrose corner?? When can I lounge with strangers at Mama Shelter again?? These are all important questions, but in the meantime, here are our favorite restaurants that are doing the MOST with their takeout options!

Jon & Vinny’s

Almost as famous as the spicy vodka fusilli and fantastic pizzas are Jon & Vinny’s green trim plates and wooden booths.  Well this LA staple is delivering via Doordash so you can get the iconic green pizza box delivered straight to your door (also available for pick up, if you need to kill time driving around). They’ve also added Jon & Vinny’s GOODS where you can order fresh produce, meat, and even pizza kits! Order pickup or delivery from the Melrose or

Brentwood Location.

Butcher’s Daughter

Favorite brunch-spot-turned-deli,  Butcher’s Daughter in Venice is also selling groceries via delivery apps, as well as an abbreviated all-day menu. Pick up some veggie tacos, a green juice, and maybe some pancake mix. The perfect brunch – at home!

Huckleberry Cafe

Santa Monica staple Huckleberry Cafe has expanded their menu to offer “Home Baking Project Kits” that are kid friendly, as well as pantry essentials and family size meals (think: scrambled eggs for 6). They’re also offering family portions of their soups and salads!

Kismet

You can pick up your favorite mediterranian in Los Feliz for dinner, 5-8pm everyday at Kismet! They are also offering online orders for Kismet GOODS, where you can order everything from popular dips, alcohol, pantry staples, and even face masks in their classic burnt orange color. You can

order online directly from them, and use their contactless pickup service!

The Local Peasant

If you’re situated in the valley these westside deliveries might not be harder to come by, but luckily The Local Peasant (two locations- Sherman Oaks and Woodland Hills) is hopping on the restaurant-turned-market trend as well! Their to-go menu has all the classics – burgers, caesar salad, even dessert– and they’ve introduced The Peasant Market which offers heat at home meals, cooking kits, and pantry essentials.

Grocery stores are crowded and shelves are empty- so why not try out these restaurant markets you know and love!
