Part of the Rustic Canyon Family Restaurant, Milo & Olive is a more casual Santa Monica hotspot. As a pizzeria and bakery, their food is an ideal power combination for any event. For catering, they offer various options such as breakfast, bread, pasta, platters, set menus, and restaurant favorites. If your event is a bit more formal, you can choose from either the $75 per person menu or the $100 per person menu. But, if you just need appetizers and snack foods for your guests, there are plenty of options to choose from. Our favorites are the pull-apart brioche rolls (nothing better), the most photogenic garlic knot you’ve ever seen, kale & three-cheese lasagna, and wood-fired mushrooms with creamy polenta.

We love carbs but most importantly, we love pasta at our events. This Italian restaurant and pasta shop is known for its amazing reviews and mouth-watering food. Their catering menu is an Italian food oasis. You have options from the pasta bar, lasagna, sandwiches, salads, meat, fish, appetizers, and desserts. The charcuterie plate will obviously be the center of attention for any event as it is probably one of the prettiest plates we’ve seen. The pasta hits you must pay attention to are the bolognese, pesto pasta, and their homemade gnocchi. Just because you’re filling your guests up on pasta doesn’t mean you should skip dessert because these traditional Italian treats are no joke.

Guerilla Tacos

Our first two restaurants were Italian focused so we had to show some love for the famous LA Mexican cuisine. Guerilla Tacos does an amazing job of taking the traditional Mexican tacos that we love and adore and turning them into a unique piece of art. For events, their taco truck makes tacos to order and your guests can watch them being made. There are three packages that you can choose from based on your event: Mateo St, Venice Blvd, and Sunset Blvd. In addition to this, you have an endless amount of taco options for your guests including vegetarian tacos such as Sweet Potato & Feta Cheese, pork tacos such as Pork Char Xiu, seafood tacos such as Swordfish, specialty tacos such as Ribeye, and premium tacos such as Lobster. Porto’s Bakery

Safe to say that Porto’s Bakery might just be the most well-loved bakery in Los Angeles. This family-run Cuban bakery has been a dessert staple for years. We all know that dessert is probably the best part of any event, so we had to include Porto’s so that you can leave your guests stunned. For catering, they offer platters such as their famous Guava & Cheese Strudels, cookies, and fancy mini desserts (mango mousses, lemon meringue tarts, chocolate raspberry mousses, opera cakes, and cream puffs). They also offer cheesecakes, napoleons, and tarts to choose from as well.

Not only that, but they also use all fresh ingredients in their kitchen, including seasonal produce to bring your guests an unforgettable, farm-to-table experience.
