Let’s Road Trip!
There’s no better time to explore our beautiful state, California! Here are our favorite resorts and hotels to visit that range from an hour and a` half to 7 hours and a half drive away from Los Angeles.
Napa Valley: Carneros Resort + Spa

Carneros Resort and Spa is the perfect place to go if you want to taste some delicious wine and relax with beautiful views. It is located in Napa, which is a 6 hour drive from LA, and is around a 15 minute drive from downtown Napa. Not only is the resort absolutely stunning, but it is the perfect place to go during this time as it is perfectly set up for social distancing. This resort is different than most hotels because every room is its own little house, and each has parking. They also allow dogs!
Montecito: Rosewood Miramar

Although Rosewood Miramar is located just an hour and a half away from LA, you will feel like you’re in a completely different atmosphere. The hotel is located on the Miramar beach in Montecito, which is super close to Santa Barbara. There are beautiful views of the ocean from the rooms and the restaurant. This hotel also allows your furry friends to join you on your trip, and they even offer special services to keep your pets busy while you relax by the ocean or the pool. This hotel is stunning on the inside and out with its beautiful, traditional architecture, beach views, and luxurious rooms.
Newport Beach: Pelican Hill

Located in Newport Beach, the Resort at Pelican Hill is an absolute must-visit! The whole resort has Italian inspired architecture, which is beautiful. As it is located on the beach, you can choose to swim in the ocean or in the pool. This hotel is also known for its incredible golf course, so if you do end up going, don’t forget to bring your clubs! This resort is also great at social distancing as their rooms are made up of bungalows and villas.
Palm Springs: The Parker

With its bright colors and cool ambience, The Parker is the coolest place to take a quick get-away trip to. Located just an hour and 40 minutes away from LA, it is the perfect place to sun bathe and explore. They have pools to swim in, tennis courts to play on, bikes to ride, and other great activities to choose from. Each of their restaurants are decorated with fun colors and serve delicious food. This hotel offers poolside rooms, villas, suites, and more to choose from. Not only is this a relaxing place to be but it is also a fun one!
Lake Tahoe: The Ritz-Carlton

Despite the 7 hours and a half driving distance, the Ritz-Carlton in Lake Tahoe is definitely worth the long car ride. Once you’re there, you will fall in love with the dreamy views of mountains and nature. The hotel fits perfectly with its surroundings as it is almost like a huge lodge. The rooms are super cozy too. Not only is this a great place to visit in the winter but also in the summer as there are pools and plenty of activities. There are many hiking trails, which will serve any of your exercise needs, and there is, of course, the lake. This hotel has a waterfront Lake Club, which has tons of amenities as well including complimentary kayaks and paddle boarding, access to boat rentals, and a casual restaurant. This hotel will satisfy your adventurous side and your need for relaxation.
